Tools

We use open source tools to produce this series. The environment used is Linux Mint Debian distros being in Edition and Ubuntu.

The software used are:

Synfig:

2D animation software with impressive features for compositing, masks and a peculiar concept to score animation; uses keyframes (as other programs) and waypoints (shift points). The synfig can be found at: www.synfig.org

Tupi:

2D animation software with interesting features for storyboarding, drawing frame by frame. It has a very intuitive interface and can be found at: www.maefloresta.com/portal/

Blender:

Blender is a suite of tools, where modeling and 3D animation are the main attraction, but other resources as NLA (non-linear animation), the module of video editing and composition, are all very powerful. Official site: www.blender.org
